NBA Finals Game 1 picks on PrizePicks
The first step in crowning an NBA champion begins tonight in Boston when the Celtics host the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
I’m leaning with a Power Play and making two picks:
- Dereck Lively II to have more than 0.5 assists
- Jrue Holiday to score more than 12.5 points
Lively’s 0.5 assists are a Goblin pick, which means the pick is easier to get right but doesn’t produce as high of a payout. I like him to have at least one assist tonight after averaging 1.6 assists this postseason.
As for Holiday, I trust him to reach 13 points tonight. He’s a super experienced playoff performer and he’s scored 12.7 points per game in Boston’s playoff run. Holiday has played better as of late, too, as he scored at least 14 points in all four Eastern Conference Finals games against the Indiana Pacers and averaged 13.0 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the previous round.
