Rewinding Auburn softball’s season-ending loss to FSU in the Tallahassee Regional Final (2024)

With their backs against the wall as they faced elimination for the third straight game, the Auburn Tigers hung around.

But eventually, bend turned to break as the 15th-seeded Florida State Seminoles’ offense exploded for a seven-run inning in the top of the sixth to break the stalemate and blow the game open.

While the Tigers were able to add a run of their own in the bottom of the sixth, it was too little, too late as Auburn fell to Florida State 10-4, ending Auburn’s 2024 campaign in the Tallahassee Regional Final game.
