Congratulations to recent FSU Law graduate Ashley Landwerlen, this year’s recipient of The Florida Bar Animal Law Section’s Law Student of the Year Award! Ashley was presented with the award after speaking about captive marine mammals during the Current Issues in Animal Law: Air, Sea, and Land seminar at the 2024 Annual Florida Bar Convention.

Last week, on April 25-26, the FSU Election Law Center held its inaugural Election Law Conference, featuring leading election law scholars from around the nation and top election law administrators. During the five panels, topics includingthe Voting Rights Act, the National Voter Registration Act, and election administration were discussed.
